I had a closer look to the books I mentioned on this blog before (21 Nov). The books that I’ll try to find, are:

* Anne Mischakoff Heiles, Mischa Mischakoff: Journeys of a Concertmaster – available at Amazon, 44 pounds

* Daniel Goleman, Leadership, the Power of Emotional Intelligence (this book is about leadership in general: stellar management, performance and innovation. Emotional Intelligence and EQ seem to be important subjects in this book – this could help me with my part on mentality of leadership). Available at Amazon for 17,95 pounds

Next steps

– Reading all emails (some still need to be read)

– Decide which books to purchase

– Asking feedback of Cécile Huijnen and Hans Leenders on the reference recording (yes, still to be done… actually I’m a bit concerned about doing this!!)

– Reading articles/interviews (post of 21 Nov) and make a summary

– Decide what I’d like to focus on: mentality or soli. Mentality seems interesting and not too close to my main subject, but the soli could be “easier”.

– Make a questionnaire: for Valerius and for Het Gelders Orkest(? Bit concerned as well).

– Get in touch with Cécile Huijnen again (maybe visiting a rehearsal of Het Gelders Orkest??)
